About

Ausilioteca's team

The multidisciplinary team of the Bologna Auxilioteca was established in the early 1980s (within AIAS Bologna Onlus) with the aim of disseminating Assistive Technology and maximising its potential.

Currently, the team is responsible for the management of two specialised centres on behalf of the Bologna USL:
- the CRA (Regional Centre for Assistive technology)
- the CAAD (Centre for the Adaptation of the Domestic Ambience).

In addition to these activities, the team is active in research projects, innovation, training and promotion of assistive technologies.

The multidisciplinary team of the Ausilioteca includes occupational therapists, educators, engineers and technicians. The team collaborates with the other structures of Corte Roncati and is networked with regional, national and European players in the assistive technology area.
